How It Started
The Kindness Crawl was born out of a shared intention to make a meaningful impact.
We are a group of individuals enrolled in a self-mastery program, each committed to living with purpose and leading with heart. As part of our journey, we were challenged to create a MAD project—a Make A Difference initiative.
Team Purpose
To create experiences of kindness so that a lasting impact ripples out into the world.
One afternoon, in a small town in Northern California, we did just that. Through simple acts—flowers, hugs, handwritten notes, laughter—we spread joy to strangers at the local Farmer’s Market. The smiles we sparked and the sense of connection we felt were undeniable.
Kindness, we realized, is contagious, and that day left us in awe—determined to go bigger. We decided this would be our MAD project.
The Vision
We believe that anyone can start a ripple.
Our hope is that this site becomes a resource for anyone inspired to recreate their own Kindness Crawl—whether in a big city or a quiet town. Because a few kind hearts, some bold ideas, and the courage to act can make a world of difference.
Featured Spotlight
For this Kindness Crawl, we proudly featured Peptoc—a heartwarming project created by local elementary school students in Healdsburg, CA.
Peptoc is a free hotline that offers uplifting messages of encouragement, recorded by kids who just want to make the world a little brighter. Dial in and you’ll hear simple, powerful reminders that kindness, hope, and wisdom often come from the youngest voices.
We were deeply inspired by the impact this project has had, and we knew we had to share it. Featuring Peptoc allowed us to shine a light on the power of community, creativity, and youth-led kindness.
And here’s the best part: Peptoc is still going strong.
We want the world to know that this beautiful project is alive and well—and that everyone could use a little pep talk now and then.
